No. The Scribe is designed purely to capture and structure your consult notes based on your own input and writing style. It does not generate clinical advice or suggest treatment options.
Yes. You’re always in control. You can upload examples of patient-friendly language to guide the AI’s tone from the start. If you choose to edit a summary before it’s sent, the AI learns from your changes — making future summaries more accurate. You can also manually remove or adjust any content before sharing with the patient.
Patient summaries are displayed under the previous booking tile on the homepage of the patient’s app — making them easy to find and review post-consult.
While both features use AI-generated content, their purposes are different: Summaries are customised for specific audiences — patients, letters, or other clinicians — and are generated from selected appointment notes. Handovers provide a comprehensive, always-updating overview of all a patient’s treatment notes. It lives on the patient dashboard, ensuring any clinician can quickly get up to speed without a face-to-face handover.
