Clinic1 now pulls VALD ForceDecks, DynaMo and ForceFrame results straight into each patient’s file. Test in VALD as usual; see the results next to the notes, case, programme and invoice.

Why it matters

  • No copy-paste. Jump heights and asymmetries are never retyped into notes again.
  • Full history in one place. Any clinician sees every test the patient has done.
  • Better patient conversations. Progress is on screen during the session, not in another tool.

How it works

Results flow one way: VALD to Clinic1, every 30 minutes

VALD to Clinic1 data flow · 4 stages

Setup in 4 steps

1. Consent: email support@vald.com your VALD Organisation ID and consent to share data with Clinic1 (draft below).
2. Connect: once VALD confirms, go to Settings → Integrations → VALD in Clinic1 and enter the same Organisation ID.
3. Import: all past ForceDecks, DynaMo and ForceFrame tests come across automatically.
4. Link patients: pick how patients connect to their VALD profiles:

  • Auto-link: turn on Link patients to their VALD profile automatically. Every halfhourly sync links patients whose full name and date of birth match exactly one VALD profile.
  • Review list: likely matches (no DOB, DOB differs, name variant) wait under Match
patients to VALD profiles. Select and link them in bulk.
  • One patient: use Link VALD profile on the patient’s VALD tab.

Subject: Data sharing consent: Clinic1 integration
Hi VALD team,
We would like to connect our VALD organisation to Clinic1, our practice management software.

  • Organisation name: [Clinic name]
  • Organisation ID: [Your VALD Organisation ID]

We consent to VALD sharing our organisation’s profile and test data (ForceDecks,
DynaMo, ForceFrame) with Clinic1 through the VALD API.
Thanks,
[Your name], [Role], [Clinic name]

What clinicians see

Each linked patient gets a VALD tab:
  • Trend tiles for every test type, even after one test.
  • Change vs last test and left/right asymmetry on each tile.
  • Your headline metric: Hub-matching defaults, or pick any stored metric clinic-wide.
  • Timeline of every ForceDecks, DynaMo and ForceFrame test.
  • Pin up to 6 metrics to the patient dashboard.
  • View in VALD Hub in one click.

In a session: 5 steps

1. Before: open the patient; pinned metrics show where they stand.
2. Test: run the test in VALD’s app as usual.
3. Refresh: tap Refresh on the VALD tab; today’s results appear.
4. Discuss: show the trend chart to the patient.
5. Act: update the programme, write the note and invoice, all in Clinic1.

Safe by design

  • Consent first: each clinic sees only its own VALD organisation.
  • Read-only by default: nothing is written back to VALD unless the clinic turns it on.
  • Careful matching: unclear matches wait for staff review, never auto-linked.
  • Staff-only: owners manage, admins link, clinicians view

Step 1: Log into developer.xero.com and head to ‘My Apps’ and click ‘New App’ in the top right corner.

Step 2. Enter ‘Clinic1’ as the name of the new App.
Click the top Web App Option if deselected.
Enter https://app.clinic1.com into the company or application URL.
Enter https://app.clinic1.com/api/v1/clinic/xero-callback into the 0Auth 2.0 redirect URI.

Step 3. Navigate to ‘Configuration’ on the left menu.
Copy the Client ID and paste it into the Client ID field in clinic1.
Then generate a secret and do the same

To find the integration menu in Clinic1, you must be the account holder. Head to ‘Account Settings’ in the top right corner of the settings menu, then click integrations.

Step 4. Click on ‘Webhooks’ on the far-left menu. Select Billing Subscriptions, Contacts and Invoices.

Next, paste https://app.clinic1.com/api/v1/xero/invoices/webhook into the delivery URL section as below.

Once entered, copy the ‘webhook key’ and paste it back into Clinic1 under ‘Webhooks Secret’

Step 5.
Once all information is entered into Clinic1, click Update Settings. You will then be navigated to Xero to allow access.

Step 6.
Once access is allowed, return to Xero ‘Webhooks’ and click ‘Send intent to receive’. Once this is complete, your integration is ready to go.

No more terminals, no more admin. Welcome to the future of healthcare payments.

In most industries, paying via app is standard. But healthcare—especially third-party claims
—has lagged behind. Clinic1 is changing that in partnership with Tyro Health.

How It Works:

  1. Patients select their preferred payment method (e.g., Medicare, DVA, Private Health) within the app.
  2. When they book, that data is stored securely in Clinic1.
  3. At the end of the appointment, the clinician taps “Finalise” and the payment is processed automatically.

Why It Matters:

  1. No more manual invoicing
  2. No need for a physical terminal
  3. Fully integrated with claimable payment types
This is true automation in allied health billing. Faster, simpler, and designed to scale.
